Sustainability has always been at the heart of R&R Surplus. We’re passionate about creating high-quality, comfortable clothing while leading the charge towards a more sustainable future.

Ethical Sourcing & Manufacturing

At R&R Surplus, we’re all about ethical sourcing and manufacturing. Our garments are proudly made in Los Angeles, giving us full oversight of our production and ensuring we stick to the highest standards.

Recycled & Reclaimed Materials

A big part of our sustainability journey is our use of recycled and reclaimed materials. Our surplus line features pieces made from repurposed military surplus fabrics, breathing new life into materials that would otherwise go to waste. We’ve been reclaiming and reissuing since day one, turning French vintage military pieces like 60’s Field Jackets, Chino Military Belts, and Document Bags into unique, stylish items.

Minimal Waste Production

Taking the scenic route means appreciating every step of the journey, and that’s how we approach our production process. We carefully plan our designs and cutting patterns to minimize fabric waste at every stage. Any scraps we generate are either repurposed into new garments or recycled responsibly.

Hand Stamped with Love

When we started R&R, one of the first things we decided to do was hand stamp every garment with the R&R SURPLUS mark. This personal touch extends to all our store supplies, from bags to note cards, showing our dedication to quality and sustainability.

Made in America

Every step of our manufacturing process happens right in California. From knitting and finishing the fabric to sewing, dyeing, and printing, we keep it local to support American industry and reduce our carbon footprint.

Longevity & Timeless Design

We believe sustainable fashion is all about longevity. We design our garments to last, both in terms of quality and style. By creating timeless pieces that transcend trends, we encourage our customers to invest in pieces they’ll love for years to come.

Transparency & Accountability

Being transparent is key to our sustainability efforts. We’re open & honest with our customers about our practices, from sourcing to manufacturing. By providing full transparency, we empower our customers to make informed choices that align with their values.

Join Us on the Scenic Route
